Cara Gallucci, M.A., C.B.S., R.M.P., is aCertified Biofeedback Specialist, Reiki Master Practitioner, Anti-Aging Specialist, and multi-faceted healing facilitator who uses a variety of natural therapies to help clients develop a greater sense of well-being, ease, and self-confidence. With over 20 years experience and a broad background in complementary medicine, Cara has explored the mind-body connection with pioneers like Dr. Irving Oyle, Dr. Solihin Thom, and others. For many years, she co-directed a holistic education and resource center, the OMNI Institute for Optimal Health. She is currently in private practice as one of the OMNI Optimal Health Associates.
Cara was trained in the L.I.F.E. System of Biofeedback by Dr. Priscilla Grant and Linda Loewer of Bioenergetics4u, leading instructors in this field, and certified by the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB) and the Health Certification Board (HCB). She earned her Reiki mastership under Dr. Lourdes Gray, direct successor to her late husband John Harvey Gray. Cara received her earlier Reiki education directly from John, who was one of the 22 original Masters created by Mrs. Hawayo Takata, the woman who brought Reiki from Japan to the world. John was also America’s longest serving Reiki Master at the time of his passing in 2011. As a hypnotist, Cara has most recently studied with Scott McFall and Don Mottin. She has been interested in the relationship between consciousness and healing since her teen years, when she began her own practice of meditation and experienced unexpected health benefits. She has explored many forms of meditation and has long used meditative techniques to help clients heal and thrive. Her expertise in this area was sparked by working with Dr. Irving Oyle, from whom she learned the "ally method," a technique he developed from Carl Jung's work on active imagination.
Cara helps clients with a wide variety of issues and goals, from behavioral change to spiritual development. She has supported clients long-term in coping with cancer and other chronic illnesses. At the foundation of her work is respect for each individual’s healing path and for the profound interplay between mind and body.
The non-profit OMNI Institute for Optimal Health was the first holistic education center on Boston’s South Shore, directed by its founder, Rita Roberts, M.A., C.C.N., later assisted by Cara Gallucci as Co-Director. “OMNI” is Latin for “all.” With something for everyone, we respect Western medicine while drawing upon the wisdom of Eastern practices and Complementary care. “OMNI” also stands for O-ptimal M-ethods to facilitate your N-atural I-mmunity. In addition, the name “OMNI” suggests the Divine; our goal is to help you get in touch with that omnipresent, omnipotent Source of infinite love, power, and wisdom that is the wellspring of true healing. Today, as the OMNI Optimal Health Associates, the co-directors are in private practice in Massachusetts and are also available for phone consultations nationally.
